half-term school holidays, I went to Borobudur
Long journey from Surabaya to Yogyakarta approximately 9 hours.
Arriving in Jogjakarta straight to the baths on the beach which I do not know the name of the beach.
But even though the beach was a bit secluded place where I think enough bathrooms clean and well maintained.
After a shower and clean up, go directly to the site of the temple of Borobudur

The weather was very hot so I suggest for you to be there, wear sunscreen and bring an umbrella. Do not wear thick clothes, wear clothes that absorb sweat.
Borobudur is the name of a Buddhist temple located at Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. Temple is located approximately 100 km southwest of Semarang, 86 miles west of Surakarta, and 40 km northwest of Yogyakarta. This stupa shaped temple erected by the Mahayana Buddhists around the year 800's AD during the reign of Syailendra dynasty. The monument consists of six square-shaped core are on top there are three circular courtyard, the walls are decorated with 2672 relief panels and original there are 504 Buddha statues. The single largest Stupa are located in the middle once crowned this building, surrounded by three circular line 72 perforated stupa in it there is a statue of Buddha sitting cross-legged in the lotus position perfect with Mudra (hand gesture) Dharmachakra mudra (turning the wheel of dharma).
This monument is a model of the universe and developed as a holy place for Buddhists venerate also functions as a place of pilgrimage to lead mankind shifted from nature earthly desires appropriate to enlightenment and wisdom teachings of the Buddha. The pilgrims enter through the east side starting at the base of the temple ritual to run this holy building circling clockwise, while continuing to go up to the next stile through three levels of Buddhist cosmology domains. The third form is Kāmadhātu (lust domains), Rupadhatu (tangible realm), and Arupadhatu (intangible realm). In this way a series of pilgrims walking through the hallway and stairs to see no less than 1.460 beautiful carved relief panels on the wall and balustrade railings.
According to historical evidence, Borobudur was abandoned in the 14th century as the weakening influence of Buddhist and Hindu kingdoms in Java, and started the influence of Islam. The world began to realize the existence of this building since it was discovered in 1814 by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, who was then as the British Governor General of Java. Since then it has undergone a series of Borobudur rescue and restoration efforts. The largest restoration project was held in the period 1975 to 1982 the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and UNESCO, and historic sites in the list of World Heritage Sites.

Borobudur is still used as a place of religious pilgrimage; each year Buddhists who come from all over Indonesia and abroad gather at Borobudur to commemorate Vesak Trisuci. In the world of tourism, tourism Borobudur is Indonesia's single most visited tourist
